Geometry is roughly translated in Greek as “Earth Measurement”.
Geometry's origins go back to approximately 3,000 BC.
Geometry came from Ancient Egypt, in 29 Century BC, Ancient Egyptians began using their knowledge to construct pyramids with four triangular faces and a square base.
What is Geometry?
In real life, Geometry has lots of practical uses, without geometry, construction wouldn’t really be possible, nor would maps, computer design, most ads, video games, animations etc.
So therefore, that basically shows how geometry is shown on a daily basis literally in everything we see. There is some type of geometric pattern or style shown.
How is Geometry used in the Real World?
Even though we may not see or think geometry on a daily basis, geometry is everywhere.
As years are we are finding ourselves in a more advances geometrical environment, especially now with technology surrounding us.
Everything around us has, volume, shape, size, surface area or location.
